Most often this procedure is performed in conjunction with a facelift, but occasionally the necklift can be performed by itself to achieve the neckline a person is seeking.

Two procedures are primarily used to correct neck problems, liposuction or surgical necklift. Sometimes liposuction alone of the neck and jaw line can provide the patient with the result they are looking for. Other times, an incision usually under the chin and behind the ears may be made, excess skin and fat removed, and muscles tightened.
